Jalisco’s Secretary of Tourism Vanessa Pérez Lamas was on hand recently at the inauguration of the revamped pier in Boca de Tomatlán,
the small beach south of the Puerto Vallarta city center that serves as a setting off point for boat trips to Yelapa and other nooks and crannies along the coast.
The investment of 30 million pesos also includes improvements to the area’s image and business infrastructure, works that locals hope will draw more tourists to this less frequented of the area’s beaches.
