The 13th annual Puerto Vallarta Pride kicks off May 17, transforming the resort’s Romantic Zone and most iconic corners into a week-long celebration of activism, culture and community under the theme “La Nueva Era: Un Pride Muy Mexicano” (The New Era: A Very Mexican Pride).
Highlights include the Pride Parade on Thursday, May 21, 4 p.m. along the Malecón. Earlier in the week, the Pet Parade takes place on Monday, May 18, 6 p.m. at Lázaro Cárdenas Park, inviting attendees to dress their furry companions in creative outfits.
Additional concerts and cultural events will be announced on Vallarta Pride’s official website, vallartapride.org, and social media channels.
The popular annual event solidifies Puerto Vallarta’s status as Mexico’s premier LGBTQ+ destination — a reputation validated in 2024 by being named as the world’s Best LGBTQ+ Destination in the prestigious Magellan Awards.
