Feds nab local cartel big shot

Federal police have arrested a man they say is the second-in-command of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel, one of the most violent drug organizations in the country.

Ivan Cazarin Molina, 31, was detained Wednesday in Tlajomulco along with three others. Officers also found five large-caliber weapons, four vehicles and a bag of cocaine.  Authorities believe Cazarin Molina was involved in the May 1 incident in southern Jalisco in which a police helicopter was shot down, killing 12 occupants.
