US donation to local children’s brigade

The U.S. Consulate General in Guadalajara this week made a donation to a children’s public service brigade in Tlajomulco in conjunction with the U.S. Northern Command’s humanitarian assistance program.

The recipients were the Brigada Exploradores en Promoción de Valores en la Comunidad, also known as the Brigada Infantil Los Lobos de Tlajomulco. The donation consisted of medical equipment that can be used in emergency situations, with a value of around 15,800 pesos.

U.S. Consul General Tanya Anderson congratulated the children of the brigade for their efforts and for helping to develop “a culture of service for future generations.”
