Is an infamous purveyor of child pornography and fugitive of U.S. justice behind the alleged sexual abuse of innocent kindergartners in a lakeside village? Unlikely, but the name of David Benjamin Creamer is back in the headlines.
In July 2013, the Guadalajara Reporter published an alert that Creamer might be hiding out in the Chapala area, Guadalajara or Puerto Vallarta. There is no record that he has ever been sighted in any of those locations.
Creamer escaped the long arm of U.S. law in 1997 while facing 23 felony counts of child pornography, money laundering, tax evasion and illegal possession of firearms. Two decades later he remains on the U.S. Marshal’s Top 15 list of wanted criminals.
Of advanced age and afflicted with severe ailments when he went on the lam, it seems probable that he long since met his demise wherever he took refuge.
