Jalisco state police busted three suspected drug dealers in Jocotepec on Friday, August 11.
Two individuals riding together on a stolen motorcycle were captured after a patrol unit chased them down through the center of town. They were caught in possession of 35 plastic bags containing a substance resembling crystal meth and a 40-caliber Ruger pistol.
A third man was arrested separately at another downtown location where he was discovered holding 30 packets of green weed, presumably marijuana.
The crackdown came in the wake of the murder of a local man, gunned down August 1 in broad daylight while he was sitting at the wheel of his pickup truck parked on one of the town’s main thoroughfares.
