The reenactment of the last days of Jesus that takes place on the main streets of the Tlaquepaque suburb of San Martin de las Flores continues on Good Friday, March 30.
The three-day event recreates the trial, crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ and has been a tradition in the pueblo for over 200 years.
Similar passion plays (judeas) are held around the country, including the lakeside villages of Ajijic and San Antonio.
