Flu shots set to arrive late

This season’s flu shots will arrive in Jalisco two weeks behind schedule, in the second or third week of October, Public Health Director Mario Márquez Amezcua confirmed this week.

In total, federal health authorities will send approximately two million vaccines to Jalisco, to be administered free of charge at various pubic health facilities around the state. Flu shots are recommended for everyone six months and older, especially adults over 65, those with underlying health conditions, and pregnant women.
