State helps out the homeless

The Jalisco Family Development Agency (DIF) has put into action a program to assist the state’s most vulnerable population during the winter months.

Specifically, the agency is targeting 38 municipalities – including those within metro-area Guadalajara – where the lowest temperatures are recorded.

Up until now, the DIF has distributed 10,000 blankets and covers, and 5,000 “kits de invierno” (winter kits).
