Cinemas, theaters, parks to reopen

Jalisco Governor Enrique Alfaro announced on Thursday that as of Monday, June 29, cinemas, theaters, parks, swimming pools and some sports fields in the state will be allowed to reopen with restrictions.

Public parks must operate to a reduced capacity of 50 percent, while playgrounds will remain cordoned off. Cinemas and theaters will only be allowed to fill one-quarter of their seats.

Swimming pools may open for individual classes, while balneareos (water parks) and spas will stay closed. People may use private sports fields and courts, but with a maximum of 20 participants. Unidades Deportivos (public sports centers) will not reopen yet.
