A Cessna 752 piloted by a student and his instructor crashed Friday, May 26 during a return flight from Zamora, Michoacan to the Guadalajara airport.
A rescue team from Ixtlahuacán de los Membrillos found the damaged light aircraft upside down a field in the community of El Rodeo.
The two passengers suffered only minor injuries in the incident that was chalked up to probable mechanical failure.
