Jalisco crafts & more showcased in city center fair

If you want a taster of the multitude of crafts, foods and other products made in the state of Jalisco, make a bee line for downtown Guadalajara anytime over the next three weeks.

More than 700 expositors have confirmed their presence at “Jalisco al Centro,” an exposition that will fill a large space in the Plaza Liberación from July 10 through August 6. Not all the vendors will be there at the same time, however, and their schedules will be staggered, with the event venue hosting around 170 stands.  In total, 80 of Jalisco’s 126 municipalities will be represented at the fair.

The stands will be open each day from noon to 8 p.m.  Expect to find a wide range of clothes, crafts, bags, jewelry and other merchandise, as well as dozens of examples of local foods, beverages and liquors.
