The Jalisco Philharmonic Orchestra (OFJ) will open 2022 with a special concert featuring a program of popular waltzes, polkas and classical marches in PALCCO’s Sala José Pablo Moncayo on Sunday, January 30, 12:30 p.m.
Seven works by Johan Strauss will be on the program, including the “Radetzky March,” the Die Fledermaus Overture, the “Blue Danube” Waltz, and the Eljen a Magyar Polka. Other famous pieces include Rossini’s William Tell Overture, Brahms’ Hungarian Dances No. 5, and Tchaikovsky’s Sleeping Beauty Waltz.
