The American School Art Fest: A celebration of creativity and community

The highly anticipated American School Foundation of Guadalajara Art Fest returns for its 36th edition on Saturday, March 29, welcoming the entire community.

pg7The festival will showcase over 50 artists, live music, entertainment for all ages, delicious food, children’s workshops, and an impressive exhibition featuring works by students from early childhood through high school.

This year’s guest artist, Miguel Ángel Martín del Campo, will be present at the festival, which offers attendees the opportunity to admire outstanding projects created by elementary, middle, and high school students.

An auction will see 17 exclusive pieces crafted by talented high school advanced art students put up for bids. Renowned expert Luis Eduardo López will conduct the auction, introducing students to the dynamics of art auctions. Visitors are encouraged to support a significant cause benefiting ASFG students: ONI (the Children’s Nutrition Organization). Bowls and art pieces created by 1st and 3rd-grade students will be available for purchase during the festival, with proceeds aimed at supporting this meaningful initiative.

ONI volunteers will be on-site to showcase and sell these pieces, enriching the festival experience.

The festival will run from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the esteemed bilingual and bicultural school located at Calle Colomos 2300, Colonia Italia Providencia in Guadalajara. The full entertainment program is available on the website.
