Belgian pianist Mikhail Hallak performs works by Bach, Mozart, Debussy and Chopin. A benefit recital commemorating the World War I Armistice, organized by the French Consulate to help with the restoration of the French-Mexican soldiers’ monument in Guadalajara’s Mezquitán Pantheon that was erected in 1919 (see story on page 10).
