A groundbreaking museum has opened in Guadalajara, paying tribute to the legacy of Jorge Vergara, an impassioned businessman who always sought to innovate in all the spheres he touched.
Nestled within the heart of the Estadio Akron, home of the Chivas soccer club, the Museo JOVEM (Jorge Vergara Museum) is not just a traditional museum; it seeks to be an immersive, dynamic space where the worlds of sport, culture and cutting-edge technology converge.
The museum was conceived by Vergara, the founder of the Omnilife nutritional supplements multi-level marketing company and owner of the Chivas football club, before his death in 2019, aged 64, and reflects his commitment to fostering creativity and innovation. Beyond sports, Vergara championed Mexican talent across various disciplines, from music and cinema to photography and visual arts. The museum is designed to keep his spirit alive, serving as a platform for young artists and creatives to showcase their work.
