Live from the Met
The New York Met presents a simulcast of “El último sueño de Frida y Diego,” an opera drawing inspiration from the story of artists Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera. Classical series
The Universidad de Guadalajara is opening one of its most emblematic spaces to a Friday evening music series during June and early July. Four recitals are planned in the historic Paraninfo building on Avenida Juarez, which is home to one of José Clemente Orozco’s most classic murals. June 5: Trio Hikuro, a clarinet ensemble. June 19: Quinteto Musaica, a wind ensemble. July 3: Camerata Juvenil de Occidente. July 10: Cuarteto Ghela (violin, cello and viola).
