Alert to local foodies. Get a taste of an array of 40 different Jalisco-made food products at Expo Chapala Gourmet to be held Saturday, May 4 and Sunday, May 5 at the segment of the Chapala waterfront Malecón running adjacent to Avenida Madero. Hours are 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. both days.
The program of activities will include free samplings of exhibit goodies, culinary competitions, including an eating contest for gluttons, musical and dance entertainment and tourism information. Admission is free of charge.
