Twenty-six eight-member teams and one four-member team competed in the 11th Trivia Quizzes event organized through Niños Incapacitados and held at the Hotel Real de Chapala January 14.
All of the event’s proceeds will be used to help 155 Lakeside children with their expenses for medical and therapeutic care.
At the afternoon session, where 12 teams completed, the “Alternative Facts” team triumphed in first place by correctly answering 64 of the 80 multiple-choice questions. This team has won four years in a row! The second place team, “The Five Eyes,” was a new team this year and scored 62 points. In third place was “The Norrthwesterers,” also a new team, with 62 points and only four players, which should have put them at a disadvantage.
