Roseann Wilshere will bring Jo Romero from the Actor’s Temple, London, for a Sanford Meisner Technique foundation course November 9 to 27.
Under a special arrangement with Bare Stage Theatre and The Bravo! Theatre, this course will include 40 hours of instruction with a maximum of 16 people.
This is not an online class, but all Covid-19 safety precautions will be observed.
The course provides an opportunity to participate in a workshop that allows performers of all media to fully immerse themselves in the process and learn some valuable acting skills. The famous Sanford Meisner approach to the craft of acting offers instruction on “living truthfully, listening, eradicating self-consciousness and connecting.”
Romero is an award-winning comedian, actor and teacher with more than 25 years’ experience in the performing arts. Most recently coaching in Los Angeles, London, Paris and New York, she looks forward to bringing to lakeside her unique style of teaching, which encourages students to take risks, step into the unknown, work from their instinct and play.
