AI machine to create personalized art at Galeria MC

At the first Artificial Intelligence exhibition to be held at the Mónica Cárdenas Gallery,

the user will be able to interact with a machine, which by introducing a phrase, Raquel-IA, as the machine is called, will interpret the words and create a work of art, unique for that user, thus being able to make fantastic personalized works of art.

pg21cThe opening of the exhibition is Saturday, March 11, 5 to 7 p.m.

The virtual artist Raquel-IA, Ekphrastic Art, is the first Mexican virtual artist, and unique in Latin America. In its creative approach, the user describes something in words, in a rhetorical way—that is using ekphrasis—in the same way that a client explains what he wants to a living artist, when entrusting a commission. The virtual artist will interpret it using a form of virtual découpage and other metaheuristic algorithms to find a solution with artistic and aesthetic sense.

Users can upload their own image or phrase and integrate it into the composition of Raquel-IA, such as a photograph, their own work of art or their own brand logo, etcetera.

The Mónica Cárdenas Gallery is open from Monday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

There are also other activities available within the expo: March 14, come play with Raquel; March 23, interaction with artists; and March 27, closing.
