Anticipation is starting to build for an event that has become synonymous with artistic and musical excellence at Lakeside: the Northern Lights Festival de Febrero, the annual February event that has woven itself into the fabric of the village, drawing classical and jazz music enthusiasts from far and wide.
The Live from the Met opera “Florence in the Amazon,” inspired by the magical realism of famed Colombian author Gabriel García Márquez, will be shown at the Lakeside Little Theatre Monday and Tuesday, December 18 and 19 at 4 p.m.
