Ribera Arts Review - November 24, 2012

Photography

Members of the Perspective Group and Photography Gallery from the Chicago area will show their work at an exhibition at the Ajijic Cultural Center, opening on Saturday, December 1, 6 p.m.

Local photographer Jill Flyer, a former resident of Chicago and a friend to many at the Illinois gallery, conceived the idea of bringing the group to Ajijic for a photography workshop and exhibit.

Eight members of the group will bring five of their best photographs and the exhibit will remain in place for two weeks.

The gallery is a community-oriented cooperative whose purpose is to promote photography as a fine art.

Flyer hopes some of Lakeside’s photographers can participate next year in the Perspective Gallery.
