Bare Stage
Lila Wells directs the cast of Don Beaudreau, Mark Donaldson, Robbin Moore and Darlene Sherwood - two of whom play multiple roles - in the comedy “Later Life” by A.R. Gurney.

Austin has spent his entire life convinced that something terrible is bound to happen to him. One night, at a party, overlooking Boston harbor, he has the pleasure of rekindling a romance begun almost 30 years ago with Ruth. Comically, and sometimes painfully, these two people rediscover each other and themselves while a bevy of free-spirited other guests rally behind them. A.R. Gurney’s penchant for painful human comedy is on full display.
Beaudreau debuted with Bare Stage in the December show “Christmas at Pemberley;” Donaldson also appeared in Pemberley, and two others in 2022. Moore performed in October’s “Garage Sale” and Sherwood in November’s “Assisted Living,” and made her directorial debut in January with “Marion Bridge.”

Bare Stage is 261 on the mountain side of the Carretera in Riberas del Pilar across from the Catholic Church. Auditorium program
Sunday, April 30, a program for children on Dia del Niño will include workshops of literature, cartoons, painting, puppets, dance and weaving beginning 11 a.m. The Ballet Folklorico Infantil will perform.
A taste of Cuba
Tito Gonzales brings his Zona Cuba club act to Mama’s Musical Bar in San Antonio Tlaycapan Wednesday, May 3, from 4 to 8 p.m.
Included in the 500-peso ticket price is authentic Cuban cuisine prepared by Cuban chefs “El Puro” and Juan Carlos Magaña. Graffiti workshop
Learn how to use spray paint to create urban art at a workshop Saturday, May 6 with @Bardos Collective. Learn color theory, composition, how to mix colors, how to transfer your sketch to a wall and other themes. On Sunday, May 7, take what you’ve learned to create art at the skate park ramps on the malecon.
