LLT
From Friday to Sunday, January 10–12, Lakeside Little Theatre (LLT) will reprise its acclaimed production of the award-winning play “Facing East,” originally staged last June to sold-out audiences.
“Facing East” explores a tortured conversation between a Mormon husband and wife at the grave of their gay son, forcing them to confront the truth about his suicide, their marriage, and their faith. With immense compassion for every character, the play ultimately offers a bittersweet sense of redemption.
Showtimes are Friday, January 10, at 7:30 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, January 11 and 12, 4 p.m. Tickets cost 400 pesos and can be purchased at lakesidelittletheatre.com. Attendees presenting an INE card (Mexican voter credential) at the LLT box office will receive a 150-peso discount.
