Auditions
Lakeside Little Theatre will hold auditions for the lead role of André in the play “The Father,” Friday, and Saturday, July 25 and 26, 10 a.m. (with registration at 9:30 am). The play will be staged from January 16 to 25, 2026.
Written by French playwright Florian Zeller, The Father depicts the struggles of an aging André and his daughter, Anne, as he descends into dementia. The play premiered in 2012 and won the 2014 Moliére Award for Best Play. Anthony Hopkins won an Oscar for his portrayal of André in the 2021 movie.
