Bare Stage Theatre

Don’t miss “Death of a Salesman,” Arthur Miller’s award-winning masterpiece. Since its 1949 premiere, it has been revived on Broadway five times and adapted into ten film versions.

Bare Stage Theatre brings this iconic drama to life under the direction of Rosann Balbontin. Performances run Friday to Sunday, July 25–27, at 4 p.m. at San Lucas 19 in Riberas del Pilar. The venue now features air conditioning and hearing assist devices.

LCS Art Camp sale

Nearly 200 enthusiastic children filled the LCS Art Camp campus, participating in 14 engaging workshops—including watercolor, textile art, drawing, crochet, embroidery, literature and photography. See their creativity and energy on display at the art sale and exhibition, Saturday, July 26, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Children’s Art Sale

The Efrén González Children’s Art Program will hold a Children’s Art Sale on Saturday, August 2, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Art Connection’s Art in the Plaza exhibition in the main plaza of San Antonio Tlayacapan (note the change of venue from Centro Laguna Mall).

Discover charming art cards featuring reproductions of original works by talented young artists. A limited number of original pieces will also be available. Fifty percent of proceeds go directly to the artists, supporting the next generation of Lakeside’s creative talent.

Founded by internationally renowned local artist Efrén González, the program fosters creativity among children ages 7 to 12 through instruction and inspiration.

Auditions

Lakeside Little Theatre will hold auditions for “The Tin Woman” by Sean Grennan on Thursday, August 7, and Friday, August 8. The production will run November 7–16.

The play follows Joy, a heart transplant recipient who feels compelled to meet the donor’s family. The emotional encounter leads to laughter, tears, and healing. The cast includes five women and two men. Colette Clavadetscher will direct.
