Dance festival in Ajijic
A celebration of dance will be held Friday, April 29, 7 p.m., at Ajijic’s Centro Cultural as part of an extended program put together in conjunction with International Dance Day.

Music Camp
Children from the youth orchestra in San Juan Cosala have been invited to participate in a music camp in Huntsville, Alabama. Four children have applied to attend, but must raise their own funds.
Art exhibits
Sol Mexicano Galeria de Arte will host a reception for whimsical painter Pat Apt and an end-of-the-season pottery sale by Robert Miller Friday, April 8, 4-7 p.m. The gallery is located at Colon 13, Ajijic.
Fandango finale
Chapala’s first Festival de Música Tradicional Mexicana comes to a close with the Fandango spectacle set for Saturday, March 26.
Piano concert
Antonio Cabrero will present a concert at the Auditorio de la Ribera, Friday, March 18, 6:30 p.m. Cabrero, who has played many times at lakeside, is director of the San Miguel International Symphony Orchestra.
