Art for Peace

A collective exhibition entitled Arte por La Paz (Art for Peace) opens Saturday, May 31, 8 p.m. at Estudio Galeria Metzcalli, Carretera Poniente 43, in San Juan Cosalá.

“The Long Weekend,” Canadian playwright Norm Foster’s hilarious look at love and marriage, is the next production of  the Naked Stage Theater.

All Night Jazz Quartet is positioned to play a return engagement at 8 p.m. on Saturday, May 17 at La Rueda, the popular San Juan Cosalá coffee house and gallery at Porfirio Diaz 120.

Watercolors by the late Georg Rauch are the focus of a new show at Quattro Gallery, Colon 9, Ajijic.

The program of the Monday, May 5 meeting of the Ajijic Society of the Arts (ASA) switches the members attention from fine arts to graphics with a TED talk, “Great Design is Serious, Not Solemn,” by graphic designer Paula Scher.
