Ajijic Society of the Arts holds an Art Market, Saturday, August 13, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Garden of Dreams Boutique Hotel, Constitucion 105 in Ajijic.

LLT play festival

There are still tickets available for the Saturday and Sunday, August 6 and 7, 4 p.m. performances of the Mark Boyer 10-minute Play Festival.

LLT auditions

Lakeside Little Theatre Ajijic Readers Theatre (ART) will hold auditions for Lauren Gunderson’s comedy, “The Revolutionists,” Thursday, and Friday, August 11 and 12.

ASA potluck

A quarterly new member event will be combined with the Ajijic Society of the Arts (ASA) summer potluck picnic on Saturday, July 23, noon to 3 p.m.

Schubert

The festival del Lago and the Northern Lights Music Festival present Schubert’s iconic “Trout” quintet written for violin, viola, cello piano and double bass, Saturday, July 16, at Nicolas Bravo 35, Ajijic. The concerts are at 2 and 6 p.m.

• The Lake Chapala Society holds it fifth annual Music Festival Saturday, July 9, 2:30 to 6:30 p.m. with dancing to Traficantes Rock ‘N Latin and Gargamel covers band.
