Is it me? Or has the world reached the point of chaos foreseen in the Bible, such that judgement day, the Millennium and the New World Order is upon us.
1. Ethics and truth seem to be undefinable anymore. Saber rattling today involves mutually assured destruction up against a hunger to look fierce, dominant and self-righteous. Politicking is just Mixed Martial Arts in a suit and tie.
2. The woolly mammoth in prehistoric depictions always seemed like a nice, amicable, cooperative creature, that in a rampage I’m sure could stomp smaller creatures like humans into fern fertilizer. And all indications are that we’re going to bring these creatures back into a world via viable DNA fossil extractions. The new world might not suit them anymore, and might not be appropriate given their daily calorie needs from a populous planet.
