Six deceased expatriates were named among the 31 distinguished personalities of Ajijic recognized at a public ceremony held Thursday, June 14 at the town’s Centro Cultural.
Mark, Judy and Michael Eager show off the certificates of appreciation awarded to the late Morley Eager, Zara Alexeyewa (La Rusa) and Juanita Reed (La Japonesa).
Other foreigners honored for their contributions to the community were Neill James, Cristopher Bateman and Wayne Palfrey.
