A foreigner walked away unharmed after crashing his Toyota van into the roofed bus stop at the corner of the Calle Aldama and the highway opposite the Ajijic Pemex station.
The incident occurred Tuesday, January 15 just before 6 p.m. The driver, identified by the first name William, age 76, told traffic officers that he suddenly veered off the road and hit the structure when his vision became blurred. Fortunately there were no passengers waiting to board public transportation at the time.
