Abundant Life Church
God is in control even when we feel like our privileges have been removed. There are times throughout the Bible when people, who should have known God, thought that God needed to maintain their standard of living, health and contentment. These same people were given the chance to learn that God is in control even when things change and when they don´t go the way that we wish they would. Sunday, Pastor Gary will try to bring clarity to our circumstances from a biblical point of view. We must see that God is in charge.
Our service will be both on our Facebook page as well as our YouTube channel. Sunday, June 7, the service broadcast will begin at 10 a.m. for English at abundantlifechapala.com and 11:30 a.m. for Spanish at vidaabundantechapala.com.

Let’s be clear about one thing. The Christian life doesn’t only consist of words and actions, it starts with what you think. Your thoughts reveal your heart. If you want to know your own heart, don’t look at your words and actions, examine your inner thoughts. That’s where you’ll find your heart. We’re talking about those private, inner thoughts that are sweet to your soul. In times of solitude, what are your inner thoughts? Proverbs 23:7 says, “As a man thinks in his heart, so is he.” Do you find most of your thoughts focusing on the things of this world? Are those things more desirable to your heart than anything else or do the things of God take priority in your thoughts? Think about what a flower is like to a bee. That bee is drawn to the flower, he gets inside and draws out all its sweetness. When you’re alone can you say with David, “My delight is in the law of the Lord and I meditate in it day and night.” (Psalm 1). When the Word is like that to you, it’s an indication of being heavenly minded, your thoughts are focused on the things of God.
