Bridge Club News - January 14, 2023

The Lake Chapala Duplicate Bridge Society is pleased to welcome several new players and hopes for many more in the coming weeks.

As of Wednesday, January 18, there will be beginning bridge lessons at the Lake Chapala Society. The lessons will be from 10 a.m. to noon for three consecutive Wednesdays, with follow up lessons available at the Lake Chapala Duplicate Bridge Center located next door to Mom’s Deli in Pancho’s shopping center. Anyone wishing to learn a new hobby which has been shown to assist in maintaining mental sharpness is welcome to attend the first lessons for free with nine follow up lessons for a modest fee. There will continue to be free lessons for more experienced players every Monday at noon, followed by a game at 1:15 p.m. There is a game Tuesday at 1:15 p.m. and supervised play on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. There is a regular game on Thursday at 1:15 p.m. and bridge lessons Friday at 9 a.m. followed by a game for less experienced players at 9:30 a.m.
