pg16cLakeside Freethinkers

The monthly meeting of the Lakeside Freethinkers will be held via Zoom on Thursday, September 18, at 4 p.m. A group member will briefly review the history of epistemology and discuss the theories of epistemology covered in his YouTube video, “A Better Theory of Epistemology, Knowledge, Belief and Truth.”  Epistemology is a central branch of philosophy that explores the nature, sources, limits and forms of knowledge.

As a second part of the meeting, the group president will lead a discussion on how Freethinkers can celebrate some of the special days in September, including the Fall Equinox and International Peace Day.

A “freethinker” thinks independently of tradition, dogma, or established belief, and includes atheists, agnostics, secular humanists and other skeptics who reject belief in the supernatural.
