Astros tip off CIBACOPA basketball semi-final showdown

The Astros de Jalisco kick off their CIBACOPA (Pacific Coast Basketball League) semi-final series on Friday, June 6, against the Halcones de Obregón. The game begins at 8 p.m. at the Astros Stadium in Guadalajara.

The second game of the best-of-seven series follows on Saturday, June 7, 7 p.m. at the same venue.  Games three, four and five are scheduled to take place in Ciudad Obregón. If necessary, games six and seven will return to Astros Stadium on Monday, June 16, and Tuesday, June 17, both starting at 8:15 p.m.

Astros Stadium is located on Avenida Ávila Camacho, two blocks from Plaza Patria. Tickets are available online at boletomovil.com.

The Astros were CIBACOPA champions in 2022 and 2023. They are also two-time runners-up in Mexico’s other professional league, the Liga Nacional de Baloncesto Profesional (LNBP).  The team features a strong mix of Mexican, U.S. and Latin American players, and is consistently ranked among the favorites in both leagues.
