The Astros de Jalisco are on course for their second successive Cibacopa basketball crown.

The Astros defeated Frayles de Guasave 85-73 in Game 1 of the final series on June 16, then followed it up with an 89-76 victory the following evening to take a 2-0 lead.

Both games were held at Astros Arena in Guadalajara.

If the Astros fail to wrap up the best-of-seven series in the next three road games, the teams will return to Guadalajara for Game 6 on Friday, June 26, and Game 7 on Saturday, June 27.
