A parade of enormous marine creatures crafted from thousands of latex balloons will create an unforgettable spectacle of color and celebration.
On Sunday, May 4, Guadalajara will host the second International Balloon Parade, featuring stunning floats and three-dimensional sculptures made entirely from 100-percent biodegradable latex balloons.
The event is sponsored by Globos Payaso, a Guadalajara-based company recognized as the world’s largest manufacturer of latex balloons.
This second edition will bring together 13 renowned artists competing to create true works of art based on the theme “El fondo del mar” (The Undersea). Construction of the massive sculptures will take place from April 30 to May 3 at Expo Guadalajara, with artists arriving from Brazil, Italy, Russia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, as well as Mexico.
