Health and lifestyle conscious denizens should make a beeline for the fourth Festival Vegetariano y Vegano GDL (Vegetarian and Vegan Festival), scheduled Saturday, October 19 and Sunday, October 19, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. in Zapopan’s Parque Zuno, Avenida Niño Obrero 637, Colonia Chapalita.
The fair will feature more than 80 exhibitors showing a wide range of nutritious cuisine, along with many other related products and services. An “alternative therapy” pavilion will offer massages, naturalist and nutrition advice, and other lifestyle options. The entry fee of 20 pesos includes access to all workshops, cooking classes and entertainment. On Sunday at 10 a.m., Marco Antonio Regil will give the event’s keynote address, titled “Five secrets to becoming vegan without dying in the effort.”
