Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacifico, the operators of the Guadalajara Airport, have turned off the water and electrical supply in the facility’s car park, which has been commandeered by a protesting farmers’ collective (ejido) for more than a month.
The protestors decried the move and promised not to budge as they press for a conclusion to their fight for compensation for lands appropriated to build the airport decades ago.
