A clandestine grave site containing multiple corpses has been discovered in the Ojo de Agua neighborhood in the municipality of Tlajomulco de Zuñiga.
According to Jalisco Attorney General Gerardo Octavio Solis, 16 unidentified corpses have been exhumed since the site was first identified more than three weeks ago, in addition to ten “batches of bones” and two skulls.
Data from the State Prosecutor’s Office (FGR) indicates that 445 corpses, nine skeletons and 397 “anatomical sections” have been found in clandestine graves since January, 2019, a month after current Jalisco Governor Enrique Alfaro assumed office.
