Democrats Abroad Guadalajara celebrates U.S. Independence on Saturday, July 2, from noon to 4 p.m. in Colonia Seattle, with traditional foods, plus a chili cookoff contest. Enjoy hamburgers (veggie too!), hot dogs, corn, watermelon and pie.
Bring your swinging arm to have a go at a piñata, and buy a few raffle tickets for a 50/50 prize.

If you want to enter the chill contest, you’ll be asked to bring your pot of chili to the event where judges will have a taste before sharing it with others.
