With 88 players taking to the fairways on Thursday, November 10, Cruz Roja Delegacón Chapala (CRC) reinstated its Golf Classic tournament at the Chapala Country Club in Vista del Lago.
The annual fundraiser was suspended for the past two years to comply with measures for combatting the Covid-19 pandemic.
This year’s competitors enjoyed perfect golfing weather and the sumptuous pig roast prepared by chef Héctor España and his Manix Restaurant crew.
John Brennan, Alfred Ortega, Max Siordia and Mark Eager walked off with the honors as the 2022 Team Champions.
CRC relies solely on donations and proceeds from benefit events to maintain its ambulance service, 24-hour emergency medical attention, and community outreach program.
Although CRC headquarters located on Avenida González Gallo lacks the means to operate as a free public clinic, the medical staff attends all patients arriving there, regardless of their ability to pay the suggested reimbursement fees for the services and medical supplies provided.
