Jalisco authorities confirmed the arrest of a suspect in the shooting death of a woman on the morning of July 12 in the Balcones de Oblatos neighborhood of Guadalajara. Kelvin “N”, 24, was detained in the Loma Dorada neighborhood in the municipality of Tonalá on July 21.
The dramatic incident attracted widespread attention as it was captured on surveillance video and shared extensively on social media. The victim, identified only as Karla, was 28 years old and left behind a young daughter. Authorities did not confirm whether she was in a relationship with Kelvin “N”.
