In a bid to make Guadalajara a musical epicenter for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Jalisco Governor Pablo Lemus revealed plans for a major free concert at the Glorieta Minerva.
The event could showcase iconic artists such as Mexico’s Maná and Alejandro Fernández, and Jalisco-born, U.S. superstar Carlos Santana, he suggested.
Lemus also announced that Puerto Vallarta could host a separate international concert later this year, featuring popular bands from the U.S., Canada and South America.
