UdeG launches Alzheimer’s app

The University of Guadalajara has launched Infovital, a new app and bracelet designed to help locate people with Alzheimer’s or dementia who are at risk of getting lost.

The system sends location alerts to up to five emergency contacts. While priority is given to participants in research programs at the university’s Neuroscience Institute, the app is also available to the general public.

Eligible individuals, however, must make a minimum annual donation of 1,000 pesos. For more information, or to participate in the research, contact WhatsApp at 33-1575-1858.
