"We’re going to get those guys,” declared Jalisco Attorney General Luis Carlos Nájera in reference to the killers who took the lives of Canadians Nina Discombe and Edward Kular last weekend during a home invasion in Ajijic.
Nájera made the statement at a face-to-face meeting with a select group of expat residents on Monday, February 10, held at Salvador’s Restaurant in Ajijic.
He assured them that the case has top priority, adding that agents working the investigation have developed strong leads to identify and capture the culprits.
However, rumors suggesting that several prime suspects are already in custody have not yet been confirmed from official sources.
