Sanders clinches Ajijic primary vote

Bernie Sanders came out on the top in the final ballot count at the Democrats Abroad primary vote held March 7 in Ajijic.

He racked up 165 votes – 54.8 percent  of the total – versus 134, 44.5 percent for Hillary Clinton. Two voters ticked uncommitted on their ballots.  

As of March 15, Clinton had 1,139 pledged delegates to Sanders’ 825. To win the nomination, 2,383 are required.
