Local fashion designer Alma Gutierrez showed off her talent for creating flattering outfits for real women of every size and shape at the Lake Chapala Society’s May 28 Spring Fashion Show.
She selected just-right fabrics such as cotton, linen and chiffon to craft the array of comfy hot season frocks modeled by eight lovely ladies, with lively commentary by Val Jones.
Gutierrez runs a workshop-boutique at Calle Allen W. Lloyd 142, in San Antonio. The delectable luncheon menu catered by Roberto’s restaurant featured stuffed chicken breast with tangy jamaica flower sauce, accompanied by green salad, garlic mashed potatoes, and cheesy broccoli.
